My Bucket List

 Hi, this is Cara! This time, I will talk about my Bucket List what I want to do in 10 years. Some lists could be impossible, and some could be very hard to achieve, but I will write them in my Bucket List, because dreams come true!!

Bucket List

1. Go to 'School of Performing Arts Seoul'.

→ 'School of Performing Arts Seoul', 'SOPA', is the sole special-purpose high school in Korea where teaches performing arts. It is famous with many graduates who became idol stars, and Sehun of EXO, Sulli of F(x), Suzy of Miss A, Son Na Eun of A pink, etc are the typical examples of it. They teach students with five majors, acting, dance, broadcasting, practical music, and stage art. I'd like to study in dance major.

2. Go to EXO Fan Meeting.

→ I have been EXO fan for 1year and two months, but never been to EXO fan meeting. Last year, they came to hotel that is near to my apartment  to do fan meeting, and I saw them at the head of the line. However, that time, I wasn't a fan of them. I'm very sad about this event. I wish I could see them once more at new album's fan meeting. Of course, I have to be lucky girl to win the lottery for choosing limited number of participants.

3. Participate in SM Audition.

→ One of my dream is choreographer. Actually, I wanted to be idol star more than choreographer, but my face, body, and singing ability are bad, so I  resolutely gave up. I love to dance, and always participated for the dance parties. Moreover, SM entertainment is my favorite entertainment company. If I could achieve my dream, choreographer, I would like to work there. I'm not perfect with dancing now, so I will learn and practice more and try for SM Audition. It could be impossible to me to success, but nobody knows the destiny of people! I should try at least once!

4. Go to good university.

→ This is a common dream for every students, but I seriously want to go to good university. These days, jerkwater colleges and In Seoul colleges have big differences. Jerkwater colleges can't be helpful for studying and achieving my dream. For my great future, I think good university is the most important factor.

5. Achieve more than 1000 visitors of naver blog for one day.

→ Last year, I was an EXO fan blogger, and had more than 1000 visitors for one day. I was very happy and fruitful. I wrote many posts of news, SNS, pictures, videos, events, etc  of EXO. I made many good friends with famous EXO fan bloggers, too. However, in January of 2014, my parents told me to concentrate in studying and seceded the account. I felt too sad about that, and want to make various friends, more than 1000 visitors, etc again.

Views of KMLA

Hi, this is Cara and I will talk about the views of KMLA. I came here for the first time in forever, because of GLPS. I had already known that KMLA has very different facilities, programs, etc with other normal schools before coming. However, I felt surprised. Enormous size, various natures, and mood which made me feel great were the reasons of it.

KMLA has many place to play sports. There are soccer field, track, tennis court, futsal field, horse riding course, etc. Especially, futsal field is very good to take a rest. I sat and took a rest with friends on last Sunday. Because of many place for sports, there are various sports in CA, such as soccer, basket ball, dodge ball, and I am participating in dodge ball.

This is 'English Building', one of the place where students learn. I often have writing class here to do blog writing with computer. There are many other buildings like 'Dasan' and 'Choong Mu'. Actually, I like 'Choong Mu' building the most, because there is many students, and it makes the building feel more bright mood than other buildings.

 Benches and tables like this picture made me to feel like I am at the beautiful cafe. I think nobody can know that this is a one view of high school. When I see these tables, I want to go cafe near my house and eat lots of delicious desserts like ice cream, cake, ice flakes with syrup...

There is a lot of trees, grass, flowers, mountains, etc in KMLA. I thought the natural environment of here would be similar with other schools, but it was not. This made me most amazed about the scale. Big scale makes school looks awesome, but also makes us feel very tired to move around. I think lots of walking will make strong muscles of my legs.

This is a dormitory of KMLA, where the students of GLPS stays for three weeks. My room is on 8th floor. Students eat all of meals or snacks on 12th floor,

and have second self studies on 11th floor. Actually, they usually use 11th floor for second self studies, but some students who have group works can use 12th floor, too. I like the dormitory of KMLA. However, the elevators are little bit slow and they have to hold all of students upstairs, so it is difficult to go back room quickly. Because of this, we often use stairs.

There are many signs every where in KMLA. It's because the school is too big, so someone who have been here for a short time can have difficulties to find buildings to go. Of course, I got many helps from these signs to find where to go, memorize names of the buildings, etc. But I sometimes get puzzled about locations still. I think I need better memory to stay here.

Lastly, I love the sky of KMLA. Seoul has too much problems of environment, such as air pollution, so sky always seems like gray. Also, Busan, where I live, has pretty sky, but there are noisy hoot and smoke from lots of cars, and it makes sky seems worse than original. However, here is very peaceful and has gorgeous trees, mountains, flowers. These factors make sky of KMLA looks prettier.

Movie Review - 

<Mao's Last Dancer>

Last Sunday, I watched the movie named <Mao's last dancer>. This movie is based on true story of dancer 'Li Cunxin', and its genre is drama or romance. 'Li Cunxin', 'Ben Stevenson' are the main characters of the movie. There are other important characters, such as 'Elizabeth', 'Teacher Chan', etc.

For the story of this movie, Li was chosen by leader of Houston Ballet Group in the age of 11, went to Beijing and learn the Ballet. At the very first, he was a normal, poor boy born in poor Chinese household, who didn't know anything about Ballet, so he had many difficulties with doing it. However, after moving to Beijing, he kept practicing it all day and all night. He was not very good with Ballet during learning in school, and even his teacher called him 'Pig head'. Because of it he practiced just like what I said before. As a result of these practices, he became the best Ballet dancer. Of course, he got help to have confidence and strong passion of dancing from someone, Teacher Chan. He made Li to don't think that he is not good at Ballet and try harder. Li thought that he could do, follows Teacher Chan's advice. But later, Teacher Chan got arrested, because he had different opinion with government, which thought dance have to be one part of the arts that have story about revolution, etc. After the arrest of Teacher Chan, Li decided to try, practice, dance very hard and reward of his lessons. As a result, he made the best performance, and became the most famous Ballet dancer all around the world, with conquering his weak point, flat feet. It has happy ending.

This movie, <Mao's last dancer> took place in America and China. Every stories are all real, just like I said before and these events happened in 1980's. It was humorous, sometimes sad, and also impressing.

I was very impressed of Li's passion and love with his family. Also, it was amusing is funny scenes, too. There were many amazing performances of Ballet, and showed strong passion of Li Cunxin for making excellent stages. Furthermore, I was keep thinking during watching movie, that Ballet seems too difficult, would be hurt so much, and admiring every Ballet dancers. However, there were several harmful scenes or conversation for teenagers. If I could change a little bit of the story, I would like Li to live with Elizabeth happily, not divorce and marrying Mary, because it makes Li to look like a bad man.

For a conclusion, I liked this movie, because I am interested in Ballet, and this reason made me concentrate well. Moreover, performances were fantastic and made me to get passion about my dream. I wish many people to watch this movie and could try to achieve their goals.

Self Introduction

 Hello, everyone. My name is Choi Yun Young, Cara. I would like to introduce me. 
 I live in Korea, and I'm in first grade in middle school.
 I would like to introduce you to Marine city, EXO, and Dancing 9.




1. Marine city




 Marine City is in Haeundae of Busan. There is an ocean in front of our apartment.
Also, facilities are very good and clean, and there are high apartments such as
Zenith, which is 80 floors, I'park, which is 60 to 70 floors, etc..

This apartment, DaeWoo World Mark Haeundae is where I lived for 6 years, 

 

and this apartment named Aratrium, is where our family will move on next tuesday.
                   My heart is going pit-a-patting about it, want to go home quickly.
                                  









2. EXO



EXO is my favorite idol group. They are artists of SM Entertainment, and debut in April 8th, 2012 with title music 'Mama'. They have gotten many award for various genres.

I have been fan of EXO of 1 year and 36 days, and my favorite member is Chan Yeol.




I also love other members, Baek Hyun, SeHun, D.O, Luhan, Kai, Suho, Xiumin, Chen, Lay, and Tao.

 Their musics have unique, impressive performance and lyrics. Each of eleven members have all different charms, too. Furthermore, they are passionate in other fields like acting, writing their own songs, variety programs, etc.

Especially, Chan Yeol is becoming more popular by TV program named 'Roommate', showing new characteristics and humorous sides,too.







3.Dancing 9



'Dancing 9' is my favorite TV program. It is an audition program to pick the best dancer. It started last year, and season 2 is broadcasting now.




We can watch great performances, and also be impressed about dancers' passion.
Moreover, dancers are all funny, have good personalities and leadership, so we can learn many things by watching them preparing stages.

It made me become interested in various dance genres like Ballet, Dance Sports, Modern Dance, Street Dance, and K-pop dance. 






Before I watched Dancing 9, I always felt sleepy or boring when watching Ballet performances. However, now, I become concentrated and be impressed about dancers' technics.





Also, Modern dancer Han Sun Chun became my favorite dancer. He is very hansome, and also one of the best dancer of Dancing 9 season 1.
